    Pacquiao circles left and throws right jabs. Marquez plunges down with a 1-2 to the body and misses. Pacquiao slides his left foot out wide and then rolls his right foot along to catch up with it, sort of melting across the canvas in a large puddle and trying to lull Marquez in. Marquez tries to jab the body but finds the Filipino too swift with his in-and-out hops. Pacquiao is very reserved, staying mostly on the outside and working behind the right jab. Marquez is marching in, trying to get close to land bombs. Big right hand by Marquez blocked. Big combo surging in by Marquez, landing body shots and an uppercut. Right jab by Pacquiao blocked. Marquez slips a right jab and tries to counter. Pacquiao runs to his left and throws lightning right jabs. Left hand by Pacquiao. Marquez tries a right hand lead. Wild left hook right hand miss by Marquez.

    Marquez has EXACTLY the right strategy.

    He's older and more faded than Pac, but will always be the better technician. But slowing it down and keeping it from heating up, Pacquiao's significant advantages arent going to come into play much.

    This just might be a close fight.

    Marquez throws a high left jab. Pacquiao is shuffling off quickly to the side and countering with fast left hand leads. Marquez throws a right hand, blocked. Upward left hook by Marquez, finds nobody home as Pacquiao slides off to his right. Lots of jabbing both ways with both men leaning back and flitting off to the sides. Lots of reflexive defense by both. Body shots by Marquez, reaching. Straight right by Marquez. Straight left by Pacquiao. Marquez is tossing out combos of two and three straight shots every time Pacquiao jumps in, not letting him get close enough to unload the right jab. Marquez jabs to the body. Pacquiao lunges and misses badly with a left. Counters by Marquez. Another left hand misses by Pacquiao. Marquez body shot, right hand. Right hook by Pacquiao!
