Povetkin is currently active in 2007...And He's not going anywhere..

Solid chin , superb combos , endurance , great reflexes...

    A very impressive pro record...
and He also holds probably one of the most impressive amateur record in the HW boxing history.

    He's a "next-gen" russian import.

I don't know how his swarming style would work against iron-chinned, huge punching guys like Brewster or Peter, and he's never fought anybody with the size, power, and skill of Vitali or Wladimir Klitschko. Donald was a good win, but there are too many questions still out there about him to say, with confidence, that he would beat the Klitschkos, Chagaev, Brewster, Ibragimov, and Peter.

Ali was what, 6'3" 210lbs when he fought Liston, superheavys like Briggs are hindered by their size more than anything.

Wrong , THEY never had to fight a guy like this...He's gonna own all the belts one day. He has some of the best combos in the HW division. and He hasn't reached his full potential yet...

You have a lot of confidence in this kid and while he could be a great heavyweight...the jury's still out.

At this point, I say Wladimir and Peter KO him. Brewster, Klitschko's, Ibragimov, Peter, and Chagaev are all more experienced in the pros and more battle tested than Povetkin.

I think that he would beat Ruiz, Rahman, Virchis, Toney, Chambers, Byrd, Valuev, Brock, Krasniqi, and Chambers.

No way , Peter is a bum compared to that guy...He's way more versatile. Peter is too one dimensional. and His victory against Toney (his rematch) told us nothing new.
Toney souldn't be in the HW division in the first place.
He should've lost against Rahman , takes steroids and can't impose his game cause most fighters are too big.

Peter is a hard punch. Sure , he's got Ko power and a great chin but compared to povetkin? too one dimensional..

I'd go as far as to say that if there's one guy who's going to own Wlad Klitschko , it will be this kid...(unless of course , Brewster finds a way to beat Wlad in the rematch).

It's been a long ****ing time since we've seen a complete fighter like this one.

wow this guy really likes to come forward, and his chin looks solid. I noticed he likes to drop his hands right before he winds up and throws a hook. If he fights a power puncher he might get caught but damn, his chin's made out of iron. This man is going places and fast. I predict he get a title shot within 2 years and by then he'll have a way better defence
