Unless his power increases... or he improves it.

The Khan Maidina fight was exciting but a lot of that is owed to Maidina..

When he put down Maidina with the body shot "IF" he finished him, it would be reminiscent of a prime Tyson.

"But Khans power and snap to his punches began to diminish as the rounds went on."

    Conclusion

Khan will never be a very exciting fighter against mostfighters unless his power improves or he commits more to his punches and doesnt throw few bursts at a time. We will see him win a lot of UD's tho e.g Mayweather,

Sometimes i see he slightly stunned his opponent (small combinations) but he doesnt keep up the onslaught and gives them few seconds to recover. His style needs to change or his power needs to improve.

It’s extremely difficult to maintain power when you’re:

    - Tired and hurt early on.
    - Have little time to plant your feet, because you’re constantly on the move.
    - Dealing with an incredibly relentless and durable guy, who just won’t stop coming after you.

If he's just turned 24 he will be at his prime in 2-3 years time. I do think he will be best p4p at that time.

There are many reasons why he didn't trade with him, but the fact is, it was a thrilling ****ing fight! Seriously, how the **** can anyone complain about Khan not being exciting after being in a potential FOTY candidate? It was a great fight. Unless your idea of excitement is, at the very least, Chacon/Limon IV, then you are being absolutely idiotic. He was against a tough fighter and dropped him anyway.

You never saw too many instances when Khan planted his feet and let rip but when he did you could see the power coming through. THere were occasions Khan stopped Maidana in his tracks. One of the most notable examples was after that body shot knock down and when Khan went for him on the ropes, but for the bell to go. Khan was letting them fly at that point.

As other posters have said, he spent the majority of time moving and firing off some quick flurries and moving, so obviously the aim wasnt to throw power punches, but to out score Maiada to win rounds on work rate. If you wanna talk about power, look at the body shot and look at Maidana's face when it lands!
