Rosendo Alvarez vs Bebis Mendoza (tetralogy)

Mendoza won the first fight via DQ in what was otherwise a closely contested fight. Alvarez won the next three, two by SD and one by MD.

Not sure of the reason but I seldom venture into flyweights, and my knowledge below bantam is basically novice level. But good shout and I am adding it to my list. Thanks

Dennis Andries - Jeff Harding: three fights packed with phonebooth wars, dramatic stoppages and at least one FOTY candidate

Jack Delaney vs Paul Berlenbach, though technically it went to four fights.

Not sure it is on par with some of the others, but I did enjoy the real animosity in Paz vs Haugen

Maybe not obscure but Chacon vs Limon seems largely forgotten

Yeah great fights that used to get discussed on here 5-8 years ago...now it is largely HW’s SRL Duran and modern training... not much for the lighter weights...partly why I like the bantam thread so much

I'll never forget their bouts. Their last one might be the very best boxing match I've ever personally witnessed.
