You are definately right it's a case of watch what you ask for for Lopez, he might be too green even though he seems ready.

I would rather he fight Johnny or winner between Caballero and Molitor first just to get him ready for Izzy.

I think that Rafael has a better chance than Izzy because Rafael can box his ass off and that can cause problems for Juanma or maybe not.

We will find out in time, I can't wait.

They offfered Jhonny the fight and he did not take it.

 

he should fight Gerry Penelosa. never been stopped, would give us more of an idea of where Juanma's at.

 

All this talk about Izzy being worn out now? He didnt look worn out in his last fight and we simply cant assume anything out of it. Also we havent seen more than 2 rounds of JML which is great for him, but not great for promoters or his managers they might rush him too fast in his next fights coming up.

 

i think it would'nt tell us anything. gerry's to undersized to be fighting at 122. gerry would be a tough litmus test for super fly's who plan on moving up though. lopez against caballero or molitor would give us a better gauge of where he's at.

 

but he's durable, and can punch. there was talk of him fighting Vasquez, so he must have no worries with 122.

 

Yeah I do believe Rafa will have a better time with Lopez than Izzy too. I think Gonzalez didn't take the fight because he thought he might get Izzy again since they are both with Golden Boy. I am sure if they offered it again he will take it.
