Unification of the names of weight divisions

    Saw a story recently that the WBC , WBA and the IBF have agreed to have common names for the different weight classes.

    However, there is no mention of the WBO , or the Ring magazine, or BoxRec adopting these names.

    Seems to me they should have made sure that everybody was onboard before announcing this.

    Also, not a fan of the names they chose. Surely the ones used both ring and boxers are the most recognised?
