Just curious as to peoples opinions out there.

In recent years with the addition of a large number of weight classes it has become easier for fighters to move up and down in weight! I want to know what people think brings a fighter more credibility.

    Someone that can Unify divisions?
    or
Someone who jumps through the weights?

Obviously there are some that unify and have competed in a number of weigh divisions, but I am curious as to whom what you would hold in higher regard?

i think quality of opponents is more important than either. if you have to jump weight class to get a better opponent, great. if there are good opponents in the class you are most comfortable with, then fight there.

Unifying while jumping would be the ideal.
This supports why I've always thought DLH was an atg on another recent thread.

I'd have to agree. Belts don't mean **** nowadays with the number of today's weight classes. It's just a formality.

Fight the best mother****ers hands down. If you can move up, move down to fight the best, that should be held in best regards over having belts.

depends on who you beat to accomplish either feat. a weak division is as easy to beat as a bunch of weak champions in several divisions. if i had to make a pic i would have to say weight jumping. a bigger guy just as skilled is harder to beat than the smaller guy.

Both. Many promoters will not allow their fighters to fight certain other fights because of boxing politics.
