As delayed reactions go, it definitely would take some beating.

I dunno about those punches though, they look like they have some steam on them, especially the body shot.

But have you seen a body shot KO like that?

I've never seen a guy pass out from being hit to the body, no. The first time I saw it I thought maybe he had just flat out not been able to get any air in, like he was properly winded but instead of going down he just fought on then tipped.

Freakishly bizarre, but then so is the alternative.

Galaxy had a great chin, able to take the punches of huge hitters like Moon and Vasquez with ease.

Definitely a bizarre and unique ending.Quite possibly a fix, which i believe was the opinion of a lot of the hardcore fans at the time in south korea, japan, thailand etc.Galaxy's very premature retirement after it added to the oddness.

shannon briggs "stopping" ray mercer with a love tap to the side of his head which left the normally sturdy mercer slung out on the bottom rope

though, i believe the first time he was ever down against holyfield, it was a delayed reaction to a temple shot. maybe he had an iron chin, but glass head

What about Maurice Hope stopping Vito on his feet with a late barrage?.Lot of people think that one was because of cuts.

One of the best and toughest fighters of the modern era suffering the only clean KO defeat of a long career spent fighting the very best.

:good One of the most beautiful one-punch KOs of all-time... and I'm much more of a Rodriguez fan than a Benvenuti fan.

It ended up a No Contest but...I always would've loved to have seen just what the hell happened in that early Tony Tucker fight where he and his opponent 'smashed their knees together' and Tucker was unable to continue the fight.

I can't even envision how bizarre and unique that 'stoppage' must've been. Did they stop boxing for an inpromptu bit of cossack dancing and fell foul?
