And that's Williams and Mayweather. It ain't Clottey. Clottey will lose again because he fades, obviously an implication of being overly musclebound, and he will be outworked by Margarito. Aside from which, Clottey doesn't have the ability to box Margo for long stretches and that isn't his strong point anyway. Clottey is an inside fighter with a high guard defense. Like I said, he's like Abraham, but throws less straight punches, has faster hands, and has much less power from a PFP point of view. He just doesn't have the power to KO Margo and will fade or get injured in the later rounds and Margo will win a UD. Those of you who are picking against him sound to me like you're haters or you really didn't watch the first fight or understand Clottey and his style. If he had Abraham type power, Clottey would VERY LIKELY be able to KO Margarito, but **** with Margarito's chin from hell, there's no tellin.
Mayweather is retired and the Williams fight should happen. IF Margarito starts faster he will win imo.
I said CAN beat Margarito, not that they WILL beat Margarito. Both are 50/50 fights. Mayweather would be a little higher, but he's actin real scared of Margarito, so he must know something that we don't.
Agree with everything in this thread. Clottey is as boring as Winky and does the same **** for 12 rounds. Hit and duck, and occasionally hell throw the lunging jab.
50/50 on Margarito/Williams? Yes, I would say so. I think if the ref. allows all of that excess holding Williams will probably get a decision. If not he gets knocked out with body shots. :bbb
Mayweather is the obvious choice (he's retired and Margarito will lose by the time he builds himself up to face Floyd) Williams and Clottey can beat Margarito ...
Clottey is one boring ass fighter, that high guard **** and lack of punching bores me to tears. No way he beats Tony, unless Tony just doesn't bring even his B game.
