Good straight hard punches. If you let him take over you lose. He will become very normal when pushed back and he is the one taking the shots. Because he hits so hard, with speed and power he is a formidable opponent.
He needs to be timed and timed very well indeed. I still think a 100% Mayweather has his number.

Mr. Toledo very well puts it, Divine Timing. I guess you need divine intervention to defeat Pac.

Good read. Does the writer have any similar articles on other boxers, past or present?

Very cool read, it's weird reading it cause every time a point is made I instantly remember a short clip of the two Marquez/Pac fights that perfectly highlight the point.

Because Morales and JMM have already laid out how to defeat Pac. But the big question is: Are these tactics applicable to the vastly improved Pac?

Nothing new... everybody knows these. But no one can execute... not even just signing a contract...

    Beautiful little article, educative read.

The million dollar question at this point however is who has the tools and the huevos to execute this to perfection? Who can bridge the gap between theory and practice?

Marquez had some of the tools and the huevos.

Floyd had most of the tools but none of the huevos.

    hmm........ :think

In light of the fact that Pac has probably slowed down with age, in some ways it might be easier to beat him now.
