Masvidal vs Diaz is a mismatch.
Ferguson vs Diaz is the ticket!

I think Paulie is correct about MMA fan culture. I think they are very susceptible to propaganda and hype especially with the marketing job that Dana White is capable of. And you throw in Joe Rogan to boot. I really don't think most of the MMA fans are former boxing fans or people interested in boxing that much at all. It's my suspicion that most of the MMA fans were probably more like former WWE fans and I think another segment of MMA fandom are these guys who did high school wrestling and the like. I'm a fan of martial arts in general and I think grappling and wrestling and submissions are really good for self-defense and really interesting in some sense but I don't think the same type of person who is signing up for the high school wrestling team is going to walk into a boxing gym. I just think it's a different type of person altogether and I think that is what also drives some of the animosity they have towards the sport of boxing. I think many MMA fighters are more like athletes first rather than Fighters but that is just my opinion.
