Definitely isn't overrated. He began his career at 135 and now looking like the man at WW. Cruising over all of his competitors. Crawford has the highest boxing IQ in the game today. That said, I'd still favor a prime Floyd to edged out a decision. The fighters who gave Floyd the most trouble were brawlers with excellent chins. He couldn't be out thought in the ring.

 

In the history of the welterweight division there's a big list of guys who'd beat the crap outta Floyd

 

Name them. Mayweather has excellent survival skills, he won't get "beaten up".

Crawford doesn’t even get by Maidana. Floyd would time Crawford with ease. With as many times as Porter caught him with the right hand, Floyds lead right would land all night.

 

I think FM picks and sticks his way to a wide UD. FM was too fast I think. FM wouldn't get into fire fights, keep moving, picking his spots. He was a master at that. He always managed to fight his fight, no matter what fighter he faced.

Mayweather eats Crawford for breakfast. I can see why this would be an unpopular opinion there is nothing in resume, skillset, or ability which makes me think Crawford beats Mayweather.

Crawford’s a good fighter but he’s come at the right time, because Welterweight has been a stronger division in years gone by.
