1992 Bowe vs 1971 Frazier would be awesome.

I think it would become a brilliant war of attrition that would inevitably go very late into the contest and possibly the distance. The big question is can Bowe be more effective with his uppercuts than Frazier is with his left hook.

Bowe got into wars too easy due to letting his opponents get on the inside. Frazier could take a punch and was murder on the inside. I’d take Smokin’ Joe by UD over 12 or stoppage over 15.

Bowe had a few weaknesses and defense was one of them. If Futch wasn't around, He probably would have lost to a couple of more fighters, he wasn't the most focused guy in the world. And that wouldn't work against Joe Frazier. I think FOTC Frazier presents a lot of problems for Bowe, and beats him in 15.

One man that would agree I know 100%was the man who sculpted both champions. If Mr. Futch were with us he would tell us Bowe wins. At least the Bowe who trained.
