Unpopular Opinion, perhaps? But Shawn Porter beats a prime Mayweather

Porter couldn't be more tailor made for Floyd.

 

Shawn Porter isn’t that good he just comes to fight. He’s slightly above gatekeeper and just below elite. Those are just facts lol. Who has he beat?! If you cats dare say Broner I’m going to die from laughing. I don’t care who he almost beat cause guess what he didn’t win.

 

Don’t rage little homie don’t pick what you want from the post speak on it all and tell me who this man beat that makes you rate him so highly?!? Also coming to fight don’t mean **** if you ain’t winning. Rosada, Martin Murray, Provodnikov came to fight and where highly entertaining. Just a few more examples of fighters who aren’t great but always put on a show. I can name a few more if you want

 

I hate the guy but hes a bad matchup for Porter. Sure i think porter could rough him up a bit here and there but he wouldnt be able to sustain it for 12 rounds while FlIVd runs, pot shots and holds him on his way to a one sided decision. I mean think about it. If the overrated Kell Brook and the good but not great Thurman can beat him a prime FlIVd wouldnt have much of a problem figuring him out either.

 

Kell is an inch taller than Mayweather, but has a reach that's 3 inches shorter. If anything Mayweather would have an easier time jabbing and countering Porter.

That said Kell had a lot of potential coming off the Porter win and possibly could've developed into a great fighter, but stopped growing as a fighter by coasting too much after that win and threw away his future by fighting GGG.

 

Floyd would make Porter look like a worse Boxer than he actually is. This fight would make for some awful viewing.

Mayweather has defeated a higher level of competition than the overrated Thurman!

 

Maidana is far and away better than Porter. His level changes alone (when he fought Mayweather) puts him well above the caveman Porter.

Floyd is faster and more athletic than Thurman could ever hope to be. Even 40 year old Floyd is probably faster than Thurman.

Porter was favourite going into the Brook fight and ended up getting his sphincter pushed in.
