Julio cesar Chávez is overrated and his record is inflated by tons of tomato cans.sure he was a .vEry good fighter but camacho(not an all time great) was his best win.he lost against the best fighters that he fought and the people got an excuse for everyone of these defeats
That Floyd Mayweather Jr was not even the best of his own era, even between 130-147 That people who think an undefeated record means the same as 'great' fighter That Naseem Hamed was the most overrated British boxer of all time That, almost invariably, the more passionate the opinion expressed on this board, the less the owner of that opinion knows about boxing
Disagree with this one. The guy probably peaked around 86/87 and was up in the weights and on the way down even by Taylor in 1990.
It is not truth at all. I have seen very cold and calm posters on this forum talking pure trash and the funny thing is that they believe that they are right
I think Bradley matched Pac, at the very least in the first couple of rounds, fought him to a virtual standsill in the 7th (in spite of what Compubox says) and outworked him in the final third to carry the majority of those frames. There are enough close rounds where a score of 7-5 Pac is entirely justified and 6-6 isn't out of the question.
I think this sums up the fight quite nicely. Neither fighter shone but, even when Pacquiao gave Bradley clear opportunity to shine, Bradley just didn't take full advantage. The scoring was off; pure and simple.
* The version of Mike Tyson that thumped Buster Douglas wasn't that far removed from the best version of Tyson that ever fought. Even if a better version steps into ethe ring in Tokyo that evening, Buster probably still gives him absolute hell and quite possibly beats him anyway. * Micheal Spinks is the best Light Heavyweight champion in history (remember, Charles never won the official LH title) and think there's a bit of room between his reign and those of other champions.
I agree but, could understand why some would consider this an unpopular opinion. Not too controversial. Spinks, as Light Heavyweight Champion, defended the title(s) into double-figures (I think); unified, became undisputed and was never defeated at the weight. He also fought amongst a fine crop of 175'ers.
90 foreman would not go anywhere near 90 ruddock, 90 foreman would absolutely destroy Ruddock. For the 50 count semi died like cooney(who did hit harder than Ruddock and did not lose vs David jaco)
he fought morrison ,bert cooper and cooney all them did hit harder than ruddock and Foreman had no problem taking their shots.morrison and lewis did put ruddock in dreamland and foreman did hit harder than both them.(yes yes i know ruddock was not the same he lost his super powers etc)
