Woah there. Leave copernicus out of this. He was a revolution in so far as he wasn't the atypical autistic mathematician, he was someone who actively sought patterns where no one would think to look. Such an amazing mathematical mind.
That being said, my favourite mathematician was Kepler, by far. After Kepler and Copernicus we can then discuss others but they're my 1 and 2 respectively.

THat's hardly a condemnation of Thorpe. Robinson was otherworldy. Would have gone to the 1940 Olypmics as a sprinter and jumper. Excellent footballer and tennis player, too. Still, a close call.
