    1- Loss to Mayweather
Mayweather was p4p king and Canelo was underdog. Mayweather is at least top 5 in terms of pure skill in history. Canelo still gets criticized because of this loss for 8 years. Haters even say that Canelo chose Mayweather as cherrypicking. If a fighter chose Mayweather as cherrypicking, he should be goat.

    2- Close fights with Golovkin
Golovkin was p4p king and Canelo was underdog. Everyone was rooting for GGG and expecting Canelo's loss by KO. GGG could beat any middleweight in history according to his fans. Canelo upset everyone. GGG failed to knock out Canelo in his comfort zone and took the beating of his life in the second fight.

    3- Ducking Usyk
Usyk is p4p king for some Canelo haters and they criticize Canelo for not fighting Usyk at cruiserweight. Canelo's best weight is 160/168 and Usyk's best weight is already 200. If you blame Canelo of not fighting Usyk, you indirectly agree that Canelo is "by far" the p4p king.

    4- Why Canelo doesn't fight X fighter?
According to haters, Canelo should fight Charlo, Andrade, Golovkin at 160, Benavidez at 168, Beterbiev, Bivol, Joe Smith at 175 and Usyk, Briedis, Okolie at 200. And again, according to them, Canelo should do these in 4-5 years because he will be retired.

Canelo is basically Messi of boxing. His standards and skills are unreachable. He probably has the highest standard in history.

If it wasn't for PEDS, dubious officiating, cherrypicking old and drunk fighters, short training camps, beating up someone 60 pounds lighter than him and so forth.

Yeah Canelo sureee is great. ;)

Op has a point though. There’s a lot of people on here expecting Canelo to fight the top guys in every division even though that’s way too far fetched for most.

Boxing more than any other sport brings out personal feelings in people, it’s hardly ever about the fighter but more so how the fighter has negatively impacted their prognostications or predictions regarding that fighter, or a fighter said fighter beats. The more the fighter excels the more outlandish the “fans” gets trying to protect their previously false analysis/predictions just waiting to be shown as “right” all along when the fighter in question inevitably fails in some respect. It’s a bizarre phenomenon to be sure, but Canelo has fallen squarely into this situation.

You're 66 if your profile is not fake.

How many times in your life have you seen a MW criticized for not fighting the goat CW?

How many times in your life have you seen a fighter criticized for losing to a Mayweather level fighter as a young? And that criticism continues for 8 years.

How many times in your life have you seen a fighter criticized for not beating his opponent like a child in a fight that was expected to lose by KO?

 Messi of boxing? He needed two gifts over G (who u all called a bum) & fought what is basically little more than the equivalent of Huddersfield town in terms of Saunders & Plant in unifying a wasteland .. don't compare Canelo to someone who's won a record seven Ballon d'Or awards, six European golden shoes , 35 trophies club trophies (a record), ten La liga titles, seven CDL titles and four UEFA champions leagues.. he also holds the record for most goals in both La Liga and UEFA Champions League & has scored more goals for a club than any other player. Since when does Canelo have stats like that? LMAO

canelo is a great busniess man, but boxing wise he stacks everything in his favor to avoid losing. its not a 50/50 fight when facing canelo, youre also up against boxing corruption. hes the mexican mayweather.
