Until the knockout was the fourth fight Pacquiao's best against Marquez?

Rewatched this classic, until the knockout does anyone think this was Pac's best effort against Marquez. I know most will say the first, but he was consistently good in this fight landing his left hand with regularity. Seems like he figured out that Marquez was a sucker for that straight left a bit too late.

LOL no. His best performance against Marquez was the 2nd fight, and that was also Marquez' best performance against Pac. That was two greats at their peak. Not comparable to two past prime fighters fighting at a weight class they don't even belong.

I don’t know if it was his best but I do think he has the best chance of stopping him has he not gotten knocked out himself. I thought PAC went down and was buzzed the first time (as opposed to the typical JMM flash knockdown) and should have realized the power JMM had that night was unlike any he has felt before.

He could have easily fought tactically and kept destroying that nose until it got stopped. Instead, he smelt the blood and went for the kill. Kill indeed.

If it was his best performance, it was also his stupidest. He was floored (and I didn’t believe he had his legs back fully for a round) and should have known if JMM could time his counter perfectly, he could get seriously hurt.

i think pac was doing better in 4 because marquez was not as mobile, due to his gamplan of having feet planted for full leverage when countering pac coming in behind his jab, which worked.
in the first fight, he pulled the rug out from under marquez right from the get go, which was spectacular, but marquez was equally as spectacular with his grace under fire that saw him win the night, imo.
im a bigger pac fan than i am a marquez fan, by the way.

Pac got dropped in round 3.

This is like a "But Khan was beating Garcia for 7 minutes before he got KO'd!" thread.

It was a classic because Pacman got KTFO'd, not because he boxed at his best.

No the 4th fight wasn't his best, contrary to what some will
    say.

Pac had been dropped "hard" in this fight before he even got
stopped, it was a back and forth give and take between the two.

Pac's best fight was the second one. He got dominated by rounds in the first fight, and would've lost if not for
his phenomenal 1st round domination. And in the third fight, he was a transformed
boxer/puncher, Pac that tried to box with Marquez (to his detriment).

In my mind pac won the 4th. Ref gave him a fast count courtesy of Lou Dibella.

PAC lost all 4. Finally getting KTFO , lying there like a dead fish. And has the nerve to say lucky punch.

 Khan ate that left hook from the opening bell.
2 seconds into the fight and the first punch from Garcia was a counter left hook(which missed).30 seconds in Garcia landed the first counter left hook.
Same thing with Martinez-Williams 2. "It was a lucky punch!" Yeah... thats why Martinez landed it non stop before the KO. (first overhand left in the opening 25 seconds)

But i think it was Paacquiao´s best performance, even with the KD.... Actually, no. He got KTFO with a perfectly planned out shot. (no, it was not a lucky punch)
Pac's best was likely the second fight. He did more damage there than in any of the other fights.
Marquez out hustled him in the first and 3rd fights. He was just a step ahead.

Or Khan vs Canelo. Amir was 'winning' that fight too. Would you believe it? It's as if world level boxers have worked out, wait long enough and the opening will come...
