    Eze posted only a small portion of the over all picture, and just by "coincidence" it's the portion that shows an unidentified substance. If you view the entire picture, you'll see that only about a 15-20% area of the pad looks unusual. Since it was a used pad there is nothing surprising about it not being pristine when placed under a microscope.

    If we knew the rate of magnification, and had pictures of some other used pads at the same rate of magnification, it would be far more convincing.
