[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GY0paUbbqUw[/ame] Wow, I hadnt seen that fight before. Amazing action :good
I was 12 when I saw that. Always stuck with me that fight. Probably watched it on Sportsnight or something
Ayers vs. Rigby I [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2z9xCd7wwU&list=PL851D55C0DCA6A4A8&index=1&feature=plpp_video[/ame] The punch that Rigby drops Ayers with in the 8th round (end of part 3) is a real peach of a shot. Brown vs. Cherifi [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPCQbERCFPw[/ame] A unappreciated classic.
Dave boy was always one of the bravest fighters Irelands ever produced. He was knocked down in almost all of his world title fights, but most of them time got up and came back to win. Notice how he looked like a slightly smaller version of Barry Mcguigan, same tash and truckns aswell Just so I get it out of the way, Dunne vs Cordoba had 6 knockdowns:yep
Can someone post up Hong-Carasquilla? The Korean gets dropped three or four times in a round and stops his man, or in this case, boy, in the next round :yikes
Bassa Vs McAuley is one of the most exciting and fldramatic fights ive ever seen. Two top-class gunslingers with different styles and slightly questionable chins (alright both had excellent powers of recovery, they couldget dropped twice in quick succession and somehow find their way back into the fight) guaranteed great fights. Bassa was a quality operator, but had some rubbery legs Wind literally knocked him over, in the 1st McAuley fight he was ****ed from a punch that missed atsch
McAuley was also one of the biggest Flys I've ever seen! So I'll nominate his first fight with Blanco as well, a robbery but a very good fight with numerous knockdowns. Good showing of skill, heart and power from both if it isn't on the tube I'll add it to my list :good
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8FW0k42hoI[/ame] I'll have to watch more of his fights :bbb Already posted Dunne-Cordoba :tong
Moore vs. Jones III [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_psFIc8TJA[/ame] Round 3 is one of my all time favourites.
Hammed v Kelley was a boss fight with both down. Quigley v Dodson was a good fight with a great atmosphere.
