Upcoming Avatar Bets for the MMA forum.

Since we've been having some fun with avatar bets over the past month - I thought I would go ahead and start talking about some of the potential upcoming bets. Several boarders missed the last series of bets because it all came up last minute when Ajax read my predictions and felt we had enough opposing picks to make it interesting.

So let's start talking about some upcoming events and whether or not you want to participate.

UFC - 89 - Bisping vs Leben. This is an interesting fight to bet on because everyone seems to have Bisping locked in for the victory. I'm not sold on Bisping yet.

UFC 90 - Anderson Silva vs Patrick Cote

Diego Sanchez vs Thiago Alves

Sean Sherk vs Tyson Griffin

I like Silva, Sanchez and Sherk in this set. There are other fights on the card - but these seem the most intriguing.

UFC 91 - This is the daddy of all MMA bets right here!

Randy Couture vs Brock Lesnar!

I can see the forum dividing sharply on this one - with all the long time fans going with Couture - and the newer fans going with the younger, stronger, faster Lesnar and his mighty F5.

I like that we've been using classy choices for our loser's avatar choices as yet - but the Lesnar/Couture fight might require something down and dirty.

Yeah - that's cool. This is really just a discussion thread. We'll make it all official when the events arrive.

This will also be a good spot to place avatar suggestions for everyone.

That's not me. I joke about Silva crushing him - but that's in the spirit of levity.

I don't think Cote will win - but he certainly might last the distance.
