Let me grade and summarize how badly the schedule gets now that Calzaghe-Hopkins is over for everyone.

April 23 (ESPN 2) Juan Urango - Carlos Vilches
    D I couldn't care less.

April 25 (ESPN 2) Andrey Tsurkan - Jesse Feliciano
D- Oops, I guess I could care less.

May 3 (UK) Joan Guzman - Alex Arthur
    D- Still don't care.

May 3 (HBO) De La Hoya - Steve Forbes
D+ What a joke. Steve Forbes doesn't even have a punchers chance.

May 9 (ESPN) Elvir Muriqi - Omar Sheika
    F Who VS Who??

May 10 (ITV1) Junior Witter - Timothy Bradley
D+ Junior Witter needs more exposure. He's not going to get it fighting guys like this.

May 10 (ITV1) Carl Froch - Dennis Inkin
D Just don't care at all.

May 16 (ESPN2) Chris Byrd - Shaun George
C- There's a bit of morbid curiosity in seeing if Byrd can be a factor at that weight, but beyond that this fight is pretty crappy.

May 17 Cristian Mijares - Alexander Munoz
D- The empathy is just not there.

May 24 (Versus) Ricky Hatton - Juan Lazcano
F Good job Ricky. You're proving that you're still on top of the game by ducking Witter and fighting the guy who got destroyed by the last dude that Witter wrecked.

May 31 (PPV) Shane Mosley - Zab Judah
B Finally something of mild substance. Could be a great one, but pretty much a good one for sure.

June 7 (HBO) Kelly Pavlik - Gary Lockett
C+ Not exactly who I'd pick to see fight Pavlik.

June 7 (SHO) Vernon Forrest - Sergio Mora
D- Mora is going to get destroyed, what's the point?

June 7 (SHO) Paul Williams - Carlos Quintana
C+ Been there, done that, but okay, it could be worse.

June 21 (SHO) Arthur Abraham - Edison Miranda 2
C+ Will be mildly amusing while it lasts.

June 28 Manny Pacquiao - David Diaz
    B - Okay, not bad.

July 12 Wladimir Klitschko - Tony Thompson

B - Could be interesting, most likely a blow out win for Wlad.

July 26 (?) Miguel Cotto - Antonio Margarito

A - The next actual can't-miss fight. And it's months away.

Yeah I agree.. May does pretty suck for the most part, but I for one would like to see the Guzman fight.. Pac/Diaz and Abraham/Miranda will be good and you know Cotto/Margo will be awesome..

I can't wait to see Sergio get destroyed!! I figure Vernon will do a pretty good number on him, but I wish it was some one with Miranda like power that would knock out of the ring.:yep

i disagree.. thats 9 fights that im interested in seeing

cant wait to see how byrd looks at light heavy

cant wait for the zab vs mosley.... should be an interesting clash and im emotionally behind zab so of course i want to see this fight, its an important matchup for both fighters

Ill be happy to tune in to a pavlik showcase fight, should be fireworks and a relaxed fun night of boxing

cant WAIT to see forrest kick the **** out of mora... i dislike mora a lot.

PW vs Quintana 2 - this is a freaking title fight at 147 for goodness sakes, against two of the top fighters in a true elimination bout where the winner has a good shot at facing cotto, of course im interested in seeing this rematch, i think williams can come in and look much much better then he did, and i think he can pull the victory out

    AA vs Miranda 2

i cant believe you only gave that a C.... theres nothing i can say to that,

ARTHUR ABRAHAM VS EDISON MIRANDA 2
it speaks for itself man... come on. :deal

    cotto vs marg... obviously ya

wlad fight - im a wlad fan so i tune in every time

so i agree there are no SUPERFIGHTS... but there are plenty of solid matchups to keep me satisfied till things sort themselves out and set up the next wave of superfights.

    I'm looking forward to Miranda/Abraham II, Pavlik/Lockett, Gamboa/Jiminez, Guzman/Arthur, Mijares/Munoz, De La Hoya/Forbes, Zelenoff/Hartley, Pacquiao/Diaz, Quintana/Williams II, Judah/Mosley, and Froch/Inkin.

There aren't any HUGE fights until Cotto/Margarito, but there's some very solid fights that guarantee action.

I can't wait for Cotto Margarito. Who needs Mayweather?

I'm also looking forward to the Witter fight.

The funny part will be when N'Dou shocks pigeon punching Malinaggi and mugs him in Manchester...Ok so I'm not betting that - But it's certainly possible.
