Upcoming PPV's on Main Event

No not in the slightest. Why would i give half a **** about that bull**** when i'm watching the fight for $15? Get over it and find a hobby mate

 

As a fan I think this is the best thing to happen in a long time. I'm watching a pay per view for $15! I hope that Setanta get the rights to all the big fights! I know they won't, but it'd be great.

My beef is with Mainevent. They charge you $50 (it was $40 until Mundine v Green) to show fights that aren't even pay-per-view status in America! They also used to have an "early bird booking fee" which they got rid of.

Yeah you might be but many true boxing fans will miss out because

1) they have Cable and cant order it
2) No pubs around the area are showing it

Which means many fans are being screwed over because either Main Event was offered the fight and didn't want to show it (ASSHOLES) or they were never offered the fight WHICH makes these other guys showing it Assholes. Either way the world is being overan by ASSHOLES

 

Not sure what to think about this debacle.

I have lots of money and happy to pay $50 for main event ppv, however the $15 setanta deal seems good also but i've got cable so what do i do? Go to the pub with all the peanuts and hear nothing?

 

Thats the problem mate I like to book a fight and sit back at home with a few mates and watch it rather then around a group of druken fools screaming out

"AHHH CHANGE THE CHANNEL PUT THE FOOTY ON" or "BOXING IS BORING"

Plus the sound is never turned up enough and half of the time you go to the place where they are meant to be showing it and they wont screen it even though by law of booking the fight they must. Main even better do something so we all get to see this fight.

 

Mate, Mainevent have missed plenty of good fightcards in the past.
They will miss more in the future, at least now there is another option...

i read the faq on setanta's website, you can definitely get it for one month only

i won't subscribe until they have 100% confirmed they are showing the fight

 

aside from the occasional gem like the Caz/Kess fight, what exactly does Setanta sports have to offer ?

Soccer fans get all the premier league games on Fox sports, european matches on ESPN and the odd match on SBS, what the **** would they want with Setana ?
