A fight I'm definitely thrilled to watch.
The fight that will finally tell us where is canelo ranked at 154. If he beats Trout( clean win) I have no objections ranking canelo as the top jrMW .

 

I've saw Canelo on his last interview on ESPN. He seems focused. He's not 4 Play right now. No jokes, no smiles. He's going in there focused and confident, that's for sure.

 

The size difference is not that apparent, one is shorter and stockier, the other is a little taller and rangier. What one doesn't have in height, he has in width and what one doesn't have in width, he has in height. Physically I think all things are equal, it's simply going to come down to skill as it always does.

 

where is Trout's belt? He didn't bring his even though he has a more legit strap

 

Have no favorite in this fight. Trout's a cool guy though. I'm sure Canelo is too but I guess some of his personality gets lost in translation for me. Hope it's a good one.

I'm excited that the likes of Canelo and Broner are facing tough, legitimate challenges this year.

and ward was not the top smw after he beat kessler.

vanes, lara, molina, kirkland, rosado and floyd(if he were to return to jmw) all have resumes equal to or greater than canelo or trout even after april 20(barring a knockout win by either fighter).

This is gonna be a really difficult fight for Canelo. I wouldn't feel safe betting on either guy.

Floyd is a welter who went up for a title and is back to his natural weight.
Trout is the man to beat at 154 right now, if Canelo beats him he deserves all the credit.
Lets be real and don't play the hate card here. I've always criticized Canelos over protection but the kid is stepping this time to the next level.
