i'm afraid this just adds more fuel in the fire for all the haters

. fights shot fighters time and time again
. fights the weakest paper champions
. makes guys come in weight drained
    . gets gift decisions
. wants belts to be on the line even when hes not fighting at the required weight

sorry, but this is not the behaviour anyone wants to see from a "P4P champion"

the legends of our sport will be turning in their graves :-:)verysad

I blame his management & "Team Pacquiao"

Manny "The fighter" is getting a bad wrap because of their greedy bull****.

welterweight division is not absolutely 147 it is from 141 to 147 just like superlightweight is 136 to 140 and likewise lightweight is 131 to 135 so 147 is just limit if you to fight ww just like 140 is limit for lightwelterweight but it can be welterweight as long as it is in the range 141 to 147 ok!!!!

I hope Cotto just come's in at 147. What can they say then, the WBO can't say it isn't a title fight anymore.

What a twat  The Welterweight limit is 147, so Cotto should be allowed to weigh that and Pac-man can still come in at 145 but to win a welter title you should face someone who is allowed to weigh in at 147.

    Hahaha, WHAT!

Thats the point. By NOT allowing Cotto to come in at 147 its nota welterweight fight.

Its a Catchweight fight and hence the 147 belt shouldnt be on the line.

Even if fighters agree on this the boxing organisations should say No.

Also, you can weigh in at 130 for a welter fight if you choose. There are max limits not min limits. Well unless your negotiating with Oscar:deal

"Team Pac" would prob pull out of the fight, Or charge "Team Cotto" a milli per pound over 145lbs.

This is clearly gonna have an effect on Cotto, Freddy claimed he hasnt watched much of him so he has not devised a game plan yet but why are they trying to limit his ability to perform if they dont know how good he is?

Cotto suffers terribly when weight drained and team Pac know it.
