    Classy stuff from Kessler.

His reaction is the exact thing I wanted to see coming out of that situation. No denial, no stupid excuses, no delusions. He honestly acknowledged what needs to be done in the future, and that's really the only way to improve off of a loss.

Kessler has got an excellent nutritionist (Thomas Macon), He's in peak physical condition (his stamina was through the roof for the Ward fight), but he needs a new trainer and that has also been the topic of the mainstream Danish media.

Funny, I thought his style is fine for Froch, it just didn't work well with Ward

Well Wards style obviously is wrong for Kessler, but he still looked slower in his footwork and more sloppy with his jab than he usually does. He didn't even try to double up the jab.

Well unless the improvements to his include a mentalcoach, then it doesn't mater much.

Kessler didn't "just" lose because Ward was better on the night - he also lost because he stopped boxing in round 3 ... he looked shellschocked.

Kessler's style is good for Froch, but unless he gets some mental training Froch will run him over!

Team Sauerland has made a big investment in Kessler, and an even bigger in the Super 6.
They have to protect their investments and keep the fans interested in the tournament.
Sauerland probably had a LONG discussion with Kessler about what he should say to the press.... :D

this is good to hear. I lost a lot of respect for him after the Ward, but now I got some of it back.

I picked him to win the tournament, I would love to see him come back.

I was picking Kessler to beat Froch but actually think Froch will change his gameplan a bit and try to "rough up" Kessler just like Ward did. I mean the guy is capable(froch-direll). I think it will be closer then many think and I would not be surprised with a controversial decision or sd for Froch.

Glad to see he's handling it with maturity.

Wish some of his fans would do the same.

Finally this damn fool come to his senses!!!
So much bitching after the fight like he got it worst then Dirrell!!!

He prolly watched the schooling over and over to see any dirt, but all he could see was how he got owned there!!!

Now, he's facing dirtiest piece of **** since last Tzyu fight!!!

I'm totally expecting him to beat that useless british mummy to redeem himself.
And I'll be supporting him on that mission!!!!!!!

"Good news that he is accepting that things need changing. It's interesting what he says about Froch, almost as if he is anticipating a very difficult fight. I think his confidence has taken a major blow. "

    I thought the same thing.

Kessler should beat Froch. Faster hands, better technician, better footwork, better jab and strait punches. BUT - what happens when Froch gets dirty, hitting him in the back of the head, holds and hit, push, brawls and fights desperately to win.....................

I really think Manny is a match made in heaven Kessler obviously has trouble when a fighter decides to rough him up from the inside with some body work (Calzaghe, Ward) with Manny he would teach Kessler to stick his arm (ex Klistschkos) out to create a defense making it difficult for a fighter to get inside which is basically the Klistschkos defense sounds good to me. I think he beats Froch by UD or late TKO regardless if he changes trainers or not.
