Unfortunately Anthony Yarde is caught in a promoter battle between Warren and Hearn right now. Here are the facts:

Buglioni was asked on Twitter what he thought of Yarde. Buglioni said he would beat Yarde easily. Yarde responded and said he wanted the fight.
The BBBofC ordered Buglioni vs Callum Johnson and Burton vs Yarde instead, but then gave Warren permission to try to make Buglioni vs Yarde if he could.
Purse bids are due in a couple of weeks, at first Hearn wants Burton vs Yarde to go to the purse bids, where he indicated that he'd put a large bid in.
Warren offers Buglioni GBP 100,000 to fight Yarde on a Warren card. Friday is the deadline by which the offer must be accepted. Today Warren offered Buglioni another 20k in addition.
After a Twitter exchange, Hearn offers Yarde the same amount as the Buglioni offer to fight Burton on a Matchroom card half an hour ago.

Basically, Hearn doesn't want Burton/Buglioni to fight on Warren card, and Warren doesn't want Yarde to fight on a Matchroom card. Hence the impasse, it will take a large offer to break through I think, and all sides may well be accused of ducking:
    - Yarde if he pulls out of the British title mix to avoid the purse bid
    - Hearn, as most seem to think Yarde beats Buglioni

Too much too soon for Yarde, who hasn't proven **** to me yet, I'm not sure he can beat Hosea to be honest.

Yarde toys with Buglioni. Yes he is still a prospect but he has shown he should be fast tracked. Think warren will take him far quicker than Hearn can.

Based on what? Who's to say he can take Frank's power, a lot of people were high on Tommy McCarthy, until he got in the ring with a Buglioni level guy in Askin, and got ****ed up.

    Just FYI:

Ohara Davies said on Twitter that he thinks Yarde beats both Buglioni and Burton, but felt that Burton was the harder fight stylistically.

Latest: Warren says that Buglioni has chosen to fight his mandatory Johnson instead of Yarde; says Yarde has no interest in fighting the "already-knocked-out" Burton.

ridiculous from warren, critiszes hearn for not wanting to work with other promoters, yet hearn is the one who has let his fighters go on other shows. Why not fight burton for 6 figures on sky, then fight buglioni end of the year. The reason burton yarde wont happen is because frank wont let yarde fight on sky.

because losing for the British against someone who has fought for a world title, is a lot better than losing a British title eliminator. his perpetual disrespect of Burton is ridiculous as well

well they think burton is a really easy fight so 'is a lot better than losing a British title eliminator.' is irrelevant as it's impossible for yarde to lose to burton in waren and yarde's minds.

    I agree.

Warren promised a better opponent than Burton if they skip the British title route, so let's see. Another easy opponent who gets blown out early will be a massive publicity failure now.

i don't believe for one second that they do think its an easy fight at all. otherwise they'd jump at the chance for "big money" to bash up a matchroom fighter on Sky
