Update on Ricky Burns

Dear god,Billy comes on here agrees with the rematch etc,puts forward his view and you lot attack him again. What the **** do you want you losers lmao

 

My colleague Paul Wheeler was at ringside while I watched the fight on TV. We both had it for Beltran, like you, by one point. I don't think that is a crazy score and as Ricky, Alex Morrison (who I spoke with earlier today) and yourself all wish to grant Beltran a rematch - and all three of you say you do which is good enough for me - then it should happen. No. 1 contender Terence Crawford has a tricky tie with Andre Klimov next month and Ricky has only had one voluntary defence since the Gonzalez mandatory. The rematch is instantly a bigger fight than part one so this controversy may not be bad for anyone. And Ricky was incredibly brave and tenacious, no one can dispute that regardless of how you scored the fight.

 

What a ridiculous thing to say.

 

And says Burns won 6 rounds and only lost because of the knockdown... hahahaha

Where the **** are these people crawling out from saying Beltran won by 1 point. OK, go and watch the fvcking 3rd round and tell me who won that round. No way did Burns win that round so there's Beltran 2 points up. Also the 6ft and 7th, sorry I don't even think Burns won them either... the holding and spoiling was far too much.

Listen, Burns got fortunate to still be champion. But we have ALL seen even worse judging decisions. All of us. And multiple of them. This year.

I'm not sure why Burns and his team are taking that much stick really. The highly pejorative tone taken by many towards people is just distasteful and uncalled for.

 

Because they are saying it was a fair result ffs.

 

Yes because the boxing fans are going to just say " oh yeah Billy, you're right and we agree with everything you say because you train Ricky Burns ".


Ain't gunna happen kid... the fight was a robbery, the people involved especially the judges should be pulled the **** up for it. Especially the corrupt little **** who had Burns two rounds up, corrupt little **** shouldn't work again.

 

Burns is a warrior for fighting through but if he didnt break his jaw he woulda thrown alot more punches and been wide open and got caught much more

Beltran woulda won either way

 

Do you know why I'm ****ed off, cos between fvcking Jim Watt and the other nugget on SKY waffling biased tripe and excuses over the fight that I was watching all night, then the awful decision and then everyone involved acting as if it was fair.

Comes a point when the fans are just going to tell you to " FVCK OFF ".
