Update on Tyson Fury training comeback

I wonder how many of the guys that were positive about him returning close to what he was before, still believe that now.

 

What does he weigh now 24-25 stone ?

 

there's more chance of a fair decision in a Canelo fight than Fury coming back.

 

I’m sure he must be nearer 30st than 25st and I really can’t see him coming back from this. Also starting to feel like this may have a truly tragic ending

 

he has a lot of friends and family around him, thats the worrying thing. thats not to blame them, but it obviously isnt working and he isnt getting better. its sad, to listen to him a few years ago, his speech flowed quite well, looked and seemed relaxed even when talking **** and upsetting those who were dying to be outraged. for the last year at least he has looked on edge, speech hesitant, seems anxious, at times he's totally smashed.

there is a way back for him (im not even talking about boxing at this point) but he really needs to knock the booze and whatever else hes indulging in on the head first, or at least rein it in. that isnt easy and wont be easy.

 

I actually think boxings about the only thing that will save him atm. His problems seem a bit deeper than boxing. But when you strip it all down theres only two ways you can go with depression. Give up and go even lower. Or try and fight your way out of it.

I know its one of the worst pieces of advice you can give to someone suffering with depression but the reality is thats pretty much your options. He obviously needs help of some kind away from boxing. I hope he does before its too late for his own sake.

Like I've said before, the way he fell out against them at the Huggie fight, he wouldn't have gotten his BBBoC licence back anytime soon.
If they didn't like him before, they hate his guts now.

 

Why in the world are the likes of BBC publishing this as headline 'BREAKING NEWS'. Surely they've learned their lesson by now.

If Fury wakes up on the other side of the bed tomorrow he'll have his license application handed in by lunchtime.

 

He can just go and get a license elsewhere can’t he?

 

There are many backwather boxingcommissions out there that will gladly hand him a license, whatever his mental state and whatever investigattion he's under. But can he fight in the UK with that licence, and for big titles (and big money)? Probably not.
The Brexit has changed a lot, so a Haye and Chisora like scam won't work this time for him I believe.

 

Difficult to say I think, of course brexit hasn't happened yet, but our law and infrastructure is so entwined with the EU it is gonna be a hell of a mess sorting every little detail out... like this as an example. I suspect though, you're right, he wont be able to do a Haye v Chisora, whether that is in 18 months time; the day brexit actually happens, or further on down the line the loophole gets closed; it is hard to say...

To be honest I don't think it matters anyway, I think Fury is looking for a way out, I don't think his heart is in it to come back.

 

He should carry Hughie's skirt around his Caravan Club

 

I think he’s been out too long now anyway. By the time he gets a licence and gets himself into fighting shape it would be well over two years since he last fought. I can’t see him getting back to the level he was when he beat Wlad. All that weight ballooning doesn’t help either. Look at the way it affected Hatton after he had a long time out.

 

Fury uses the commission as an excuse. The reality he is he doesn't want to put the work in. He could get in shape if he wanted and get down to a decent weight while he waits for the outcome of the drug issue but he chooses not too.

Nobody is forcing him to Balloon up to 25 stone. His not barred from a gym or a ring.

His heart isn't in it. It's a long road back and Fury has decided he would rather stop off at the pub and kebab shop
