Update on Tyson Fury training comeback

It’s a good shout that. The perfect comeback fight for Fury would be Price.

 

Eddie will do his best to get Fury in undercooked. One tune up and Eddie will make him an offer he can't refuse. Wait and see!

 

Yeah, that's the danger. The fans could well get ripped off with a washed-up fat Fury being thrown unprepared into a mega fight for quick money all round.

 

Tyson Fury has been calling Joshua's name for a minute, he should be willing to fight him as soon as he is fit. No excuses.

 

He’s constantly calling Joshua out. If he gets a license and calls him out what do you expect Joshua to say? “No go and get fit first. Your too fat. Etc”?
Be realistic. He takes the pay day and smashes him.

In all honesty he will just get bashed anyway. If fury had 6/7 tune up fights then fought Joshua everyone would still be saying “he just weren’t the same since that ban. The fury that beat Klitschko would beat him blah blah blah”

So just take the easiest opportunity.

 

That's not boxing fan logic.
Obviously Fury's unlikely to be the same, even IF he had "6 or 7 tune ups". Nothing can change that reality. He's a human being.
But what would be the point in watching him come back at all unless he's going to get himself in best possible shape ? It would be pointless from a boxing fan's point of view.
Unless you just want to pay to see a fat guy get beat up, which I guess is what most so-called fans like to do these days !

Fury's just a washed up fat guy now, until he proves otherwise.
It would be a joke fight if he came straight back and fought a top 2 or 3 heavyweight for mega millions without even getting fit and sharp.
Too many pantomime fights these days. I don't understand the mentality that buys into them.

 

Fury should be willing. But it should be up to the fans and the media to call it like it is.

Either ballooning to 26 stone and taking 2 years off (more if he ever comes back) is bad form for a top heavyweight contender OR it's all good. I think at this stage everyone knows it's bad and would make no sense to make that the standard for receiving a mega fight.
Of course, money trumps everything but we, as fans, should at least expect some standard.
I like Tyson Fury but I wouldn't pay money to watch him fight if he's obviously not taking it seriously.

Next thing you know AJ will be ballooning to 26 stones and taking on Shannon Briggs or David Haye hobbling in the ring on crutches.

 

Soft fight?

A fit Haye batters feather fisted Fury. Would have done 4 or so years back, would do now and would do next year.

 

You're deluded. Haye's a second-rate heavyweight at his best. Now he's fourth-rate at best.
It's a soft fight for any heavyweight with any remote ambition towards the top honours.
If Fury can't beat Haye he's even more gone than anyone would guess.

Anyway, I said the winner of Haye-Bellew 2. That very clearly might not be Haye.
