I really don’t want to hear any Fury nonsense this week. We had an exciting evening yesterday and a big event coming this week- yet you can bet that this fraud will be trying his hardest to ride the wave to make himself relevant..he’s pathetic.

Tyson Fury according to the Manchester News has signed with Frank Warren and is expected to fight on a bill taking place in summer in Manchester on June 9. The potential event featuring Fury is yet to be officially announced but its expected the vacant WBO 140 lb Title fight between Terry Flannagan and Maurice Hooker will be part of the card having been pushed back from its original April 14 date . The rematch between Zelfran Barrett and Ronnie Clark could be on the June card too.

    Finally a proper update.

I wonder if Frank will have the balls to try the etihad stadium? Fury has huge popularity at the minute and if Shelby Warrington can do 20-25k. Surely Fury can with a local lad in a world title fight as support? If not I’d expect a sell out at the MEN or whatever it’s called these days.

Oh and it makes you wonder doesn’t it?

Sales not so good for the o2. Canelo GGG maybe cancelled, Fury getting out of his situation with Hennessy taking a bit longer than expected...

Hoping Saunders gets the Golovkin fight and Flanagan can fight on a big stadium card in the summer with Fury...

    That’s the cynic in me!

If Tyson Fury's going to come back and fight some 50 year old bum like Shannon Briggs, I don't think he should bother.

I think Carlos Takam would be a good opponent for Fury, this summer 2018. The UK audience know who Takam is, they know he's credible thanks to the AJ-Takam fight. And stylistically, with Fury being about 7, 8 or 9 inches taller, it shouldn't be seen as too great a risk for him.
Takam is also credible enough for Fury to call it a "defence" of his "linear championship".

If Fury wants to fight some bum or some old guy, it shouldn't be any sort of big promotion main evemt. Throw him in with a Latvian street cleaner on some undercard or some leisure centre fight maybe free on Dave channel.

I'm calling it now - he's never fighting again. Whatever he's been up to since the Vlad fight has ****ed him to within an inch of his life. That sharp intake of breath between sentences and the voice - he sounds like an ex-smackhead.

And he's starting to put the weight back on again.

Tend to agree. He will come back eventually but I can’t see him mounting a serious challenge. What’s he training for? Is he still training? He has nothing scheduled. He doesn’t have anything to focus on at the moment. He’s just getting older and sitting on the sidelines making social media posts. He’s abused his body and mind too much and his ego is out of control. He thinks he can just waltz back into the division and pick up where he left off. I can’t see that happening. Nice message to David Price though.
