If Cornish is a risk then they need to call the whole thing off.

I agree. In reality be a no risk fight.

With so much money at risk i feel the better option would have been to try to do a Sugar Ray Leonard. A poor performance from Tyson will dampen a potential super fight. There are so many variables with Tyson well publicized battle with depression and drugs.

Gary Cornish a risk? The blokes a welder by trade who lasted 90 seconds against Joshua in only AJ's 14th fight

With less than a month to go Tyson management has made sure their opponent will not have the proper time to prepare for the Jun 9 fight. Obviously they are looking ahead to the Shannon Briggs fight in Sept.

Seferi's probably been in training for as long as we've known about him.
So if it's him, then at least he might have had a decent training phase.

Doesn't matter if he's trained or not. A fat Fury beats him one that's in shape and fit will take him to the cleaners. Seferi is an awful opponent. If he gets the nod i would Tyson is back in the ring by late july/august.

Dissapointed in a 3 of them names.
Seferi might always be training but he has no chance against Fury.

Johnson...i have respect for the guy but Tyson already beat him nearly 6 long years ago now, johnson is shot to pieces now.

Swear down reading Gary Cornish is a risk made me spit out my water!!! A risk?!?!

But then again Fury did say he wants to fight a bum a month so he will be staying true to his word.

I wonder if they are avoiding Cornish because of AJ's performance - Tyson probably isn't going to spark Cornish maybe stop him on accumulation but it would take him a couple of rounds me thinks.

Hopefully by Christmas Fury has had 3 fights. Then he can go into the new year looking to step it up back to the world scene. No hoper, no hoper, faded vet then someone like Bellew in the new year I know not a proper heavy but the fight would sell then he can aim for a big fight against whoever is the rankings Povetkin, or Miller or what ever.

Fury said he's been lifting weights. He sure looks more solid than he did when he was champion....................I think Fury can do it again, can't wait to see him fight against anybody at this time................

I wonder if they’ll try and get Fury in to a mandatory position to face AJ so that they can try and get him on BT via purse bids.

Say what you want abpout this Ben Davison & Co, they seem to have taught Tyson Fury how to perform a few quality sets for the bis and tris.

Those old videos of Fury's weight training under Peter's guidance were laughable. It was all slopping and swinging, rocking and rolling all over the place. I doubt he's using the strictest form now either but it can't be bad like that.

Not that this means anything for boxing success.

It would be funny though, if the Fury-Joshua fight ever happens, Fury faces him off at the weigh in and everyone's like, "Er .... Joshua's got a pretty boy body and all that, but look at the SHEER SIZE of Fury's arms !"
    Ha ha
Then Fury gives Joshua a schooling while Wladimir sobs his eyes out at ringside.
