I'm not sure where you have been for the past 6 years but David Haye has had a hell of a lot of abuse and again, he has reaped what he sewed. I can say the same for Tyson Fury fans, they paint Team Fury in this light of positivity when they then turn around and say AJ is a fake gangster, hood rat, ex drug dealer, criminal when in reality Peter Fury was more of a gangster than AJ ever was. So I would say Fury fans complaining about stereotyping and discrimination are calling the kettle black.
imagine, if you will. an organization, that is in charge of controlling and regulating a sport where serious neurological damage is not only possible, but a common occurrence. then, try to envision... if you can, that one of the sportsmen they are trying to protect suffers from clear psychological problems having partaken in a sport where he got repeatedly punched in the head for nearly a decade. At this point, what would you expect from a professional body in charge of regulating a multimillion pound industry whilst protecting the people who make it happen? Should they A: deal with them in a professional manner according them all the help they need? or B: should they for someunknown reason decide to take up a personal vendetta against the person, seemingly doing everything they can to postpone his career and keep he and his team completely in the dark as to their prospects by, without precedent, delaying and cancelling their own due process with no explanation? If you answered B, then congratulations, a job at UKAD awaits you.
Peter Fury is not Tyson fury. What Peter does is his business, you cannot then just brand all of his actions on to Fury. So from Fury's stance there is no hypocrisy when he labels Joshua as a drug dealer. Even more so, Fury deserves more credit as he has come from a family who are surrounded by criminality, yet he himself has done his utmost to earn his bread legitimately. In comparison, Joshua was given a golden opportunity from the beginning when his parents moved away from Nigeria to give birth to him in the uk, and send him to a high ranking private school, to give him the best start in life, only for him to throw it back in their faces and choose the faux gangster lifestyle that he ever so clamoured for.
'These fans of Fury', 'these fans of Joshua', 'these fans of Haye'...am I on my own in liking and appreciating all 3 (and many more)? Why does there have to be this allegiance to a particular fighter? You have posters shooting down other posters accusing them of being 'such a such a person' fanboys just because they've expressed an opinion that isn't favourable to their favourite fighter.
Tyson Fury has come from a family who are surrounded by criminality and ended up a drug fiend? Fury had it all and threw it all away, Joshua had a good start, nearly threw it away but came through it when he made it tough on himself. When Fury made it tough on himself, he had a meltdown, turned to drugs and alcohol and ended up morbidly obese.
He had a bit of beak, not sure that makes him a fiend. He has a few naughty family members but he's not got a criminal record (to my knowledge anyway). He's outspoken, says stupid things, clearly has psychiatric issues but is he really such a terrible bloke? He's made a right pigs ear of his life after a brilliant achievement in winning those belts. He's lost his way...but if he comes back (which I think he will) and regains a world title or two (which I also think he will), then that will be pretty special.
Oh OK then. You will have to supply the link to when possession of Cocaine was legalised, as I seem to have missed that memo.
I'm not disputing that mate, he is/was a genuine elite level technician when he is fit and what he achieved against Wlad in that manor was remarkable. I just have a problem with people who say people dislike Fury because of his background, sure I'm sure those people exist but it is mainly because of his actions and words people have turned on him.
I would love to see Tyson Fury get into top shape and fight Wilder, but Wilder would not fight him, so let it be Joshua................he can beat Joshua if he is in top shape.............
