Excellent list. Khan has re-established his preeminant status as THE glassiest of glass jawed fighters with that KTFO last night.

I will say this - Wilder will be moving into the top five soon, after he gets starched by Povetkin.

Good list, personally I'd have Jacobs and Enzo above Chad Dawson.

 

My thoughts: No self respected boxing fan should waste their time talking about glass jaw.

They're armchairs who think that they love the sport but are really insulting boxers with this unethical code of conduct. AND...they think that they're keeping it real with this creepy, kaotic, cryptic, psychotic outlook lol.

I've been a boxing fan for 35 years, and as a long-time knowledgable boxing fan, I have seen the central importance of punch resistance to success in this sport proven time and time again.

Yes, there are exceptions of fighters with less-than sturdy whiskers achieving greatness (Lennox Lewis comes to mind), but these are few and far between.

More often than not, however, when a fighter with a fragile chin steps up, they get KTFO time and time again. Khan is a classic example of this.

Having a decent chin is essential to sustained success at the world class level. So in short, glass jaws matter, and we WILL discuss them on this forum!

Get with the times? What did you think was going to happen when you put a guy that can barely hold his own at 147lbs against a guy that comes to the ring at about 175lbs?
