Unfortunately, yes. Glass jaws are RAMPANT in mma. Fighters are getting knocked silly by jabs on a regular basis. It's completely unacceptable, yet appears to be the mma community's elephant in the room.

The only way that these posts are comparable is in the point being made and the use of the phrase "blind hero worship". I suppose I could go the long way around and say "idolatry" or "excessive devotion to athletes they live vicariously through" but that would be pointless if the only intention is to keep myself from using ANY terms that Zak does. Accept it, Stoo, Chinchecking is here to stay and you'd be best served by adopting the common lexicon of the Chincheckers or at least accepting that we aren't going anywhere until there is a common understanding amongst us that proper punch resistance is THE defining factor in fighting.:hi:
