It now appears that Gamboa may be in the main event and not the under card.

" In regards to a proposed March 3rd fight with John Molina in a HBO double header that was to also have Gamboa as the co-main, Brandon would let me know that he is ready to fight anyone that his manager puts in front of him, “from what I understand, he (Molina) priced himself out of the fight with me. So we are moving forward, from what I hear there are two possible dates on the table. March 3rd or April 14th and I hope something can be worked out for me to fight Gamboa. But I will fight whoever, I trust my management team (Cameron Dunkin) to do what is the best for me.”

Actually I think Gamboa will be a rather easy fight for Rios.

I read that Molina/Rios was off. Molina's side weren't happy with the purse or something :-(

After the way Rios looked at the weigh-in of his last bout, he will be too weak to do anything against Gamboa. If they decide too make this at 135.

I know he almost killed Murray. Just think what he would have done if he had not been so weak. ;)

From what I understand, they are trying to do Rios vs. John Molina at 137 lb. catchweight with Gamboa vs. Roman Martinez at 130 lb. Then, the next match would be Gamboa vs. Rios at 135 lb.

Yep but still no deal on Gamboa-Rocky and Rios-Molina
has blown up over money. It seems like its been a mess putting
    this together.
