Not looking past tonights fight but, I was doing some reading and ran up on a few things..

Top Rank has penciled down Manny Pacquiao's next fight for Nov. 8, but no word on who the opponent would be yet and Arum is also talking about a second rematch against JMM in early 2009..

So there will be a trilogy between Pacquiao & JMM more than likely.. Any idea on who ya'll think Pac's next opponent is gonna' be? Doubt it's Hatton, since he's fighting Malignaggi this fall..

but the question is, hatton-maliggnagi is it a done deal?

i doubt he fights a big name lightweight as the big names are unavailable by that time. khan?

The Hatton-Malignaggi fight isn't a done deal, but more than likely it is as Hatton was showin' interest in the Malignaggi fight.. The Campbell/Guzman fight is in August.. You think any one of them might take a fight with Pacquiao in 3 months? All the top lightweights are fighting in the fall.. Amir Khan or Julio Diaz? No way I see Arum signing those fights..

amir khan is the most biggest hype in the U.K, arum might sign that as it could generate a big fight in the U.K

julio diaz? most likely no..he could be if he was still champ but now imo he's out of the picture

Maybe with Khan, but I doubt it.. I don't know.. Valero maybe if he moved up? They were in talks with a fight with him before the Diaz fight.. Maybe the winner of Campbell/Guzman if they're willing to take the fighting before the end of 2008.. The date is just penciled in, so the date could change to end of November or even December.. I guess for now his next foe will remain a mystery at the moment.. Can't wait to see Pac make history tonight :bbb

    Hatton-Malinaggi is signed. So Pac-Hatton won't happen till 2009.
Maybe Guerrero will get what he wished for...........a massacre

So Hatton's scratched off the list.. Wouldn't Guerrero have to move up two weight classes? He would look like **** and get destroyed.

I see Pacman going for the winner of either Casa/Jmm or Guzman/Campbell

I really would like to see Pacquiao fight Campbell.. The Casa/JMM fight is in Sept. so I don't know if they'll take the fight in 2 months.. Like I posted earlier, the rematch between Pacquiao & JMM is in talks for early 2009..

Again, not a good idea for him to move up again, but I see him taking on the winner of Marquez-Casamayor, THEN win or lose that fight, going to 140 where it will be the end of the line.

No way would Khan's handlers put him in with Pac. He was so bad in his last fight, against a C-level opponent, its ridiculous. They will milk that cash cow for a long time to come before they throw him into anything approaching an even-money fight, and a bout with Pac would not be an even-money fight at the moment, or probably in the near future either.
