I decided to upload this in addition to the Canizales vs Seabrooks II fight, which is currently uploading and slowing my Internet down like a *****. This content is protected but I'll leave that uploading whilst I'm sleeping. Sorry for the complications guys, I wish it was less time consuming to upload fights. Here's a fight that I think is definitely worth watching. He was bigger than MP, in the Philippines, when that fight originally happened. Literally and figuratively. It was Featherweight champ Luisito Espinosa at the top of local boxing, then Gerry, and MP at third. Always classy, Gerry.
His first fight vs. Vorapin was fun to watch. The guy was showboating a lot and got caught by a good punch.
I think this is Gerry's finest hour. You could argue coming back and winning the title was even more sweet but Kawashima was a good fighter at the top of his game and Gerry went into his backyard and beat him comfortably. They tried to take it from him with that bull**** SD, but this was Penalosa's defining moment.
I'm gonna let you finish, but Donaire is a better fighter than Gerry of all time lol.He is faster and speed kills.Gerry is too slow that's why he loses these close D.Don is the only one to STOP Darchi, martinez and Vargas "chango" (which means ******) ahihihihihi..
Had Gerry decided to stay at bantamweight or dropped down to superfly which looks suited for his small frame, he would have lorded over darchinyan, and arce. toobad he ventured off his own weightclass to look for bigger 122 lbs punchers
