Quite a recent fight. Who would have thought this was going to turn into such a compelling and competitive fight after the first three minutes. Great stuff from both fighters. The two best 126lbs fighters in the world at the time...going at it.

I just got a DVD copy of this fight and scored it 115-112 for Pac. It wasn't close for me. I saw their second fight as much closer to a draw than this fight.

If I remember correctly I had it 113-112, Close but CLEAR victory for Marquez.

There's nothing CLEAR about 113-112, Saltzy.

If you floor a man three times and get a draw you got your ass kicked.

The second fight was a Marquez victory by two or three points. Marquez just has Pac's number (Norton to Ali style).

Pacquiao should consider himself a lottery winner that he has a draw and a win!

    And I'm a Pacquiao fan!

How can there not be. Just like 115-113 for Morales-Pacquiao I was close but CLEAR. If you have set rounds you feel one fighter won no matter what then it can be a clear victory no matter how close it is. :good

wow i cant believe this fight is 5 years old now and i gotta ask has pacquiao over aged?
    pacquiao is apparently 32
    barrera and marquez 36
    morales 33
but back then when they were fightin each other
pac was 24 when he first fought barrera who was 30
so where have the 2 years gone?

Exactly what I'm thinking, only worried that hes become older, slower, more complacent... albeit more skilled than before.

Thanks for the upload. Funny I was just rewatching Pacquiao-Hatton a few minutes ago lol. The scary thing about Pacquiao is that he gets better every fight and is STILL peaking. I had the first fight a draw and will score it again sometime b4 this year ends.

I like how some people say Pac is on roids because he can take punches from bigger men yet he was KO'd as flyweight.

JMM was KD 3 times by a FW yet Floyd who was a WW who apparently had Mosley in toruble couldnt put him away. How is this possible, is JMM on roids?

Not if they come back from those knockdowns and still make the fight close.
