I love this fight - its a shame the rematch was never aired .

 

Right, a lot of fighters get damaged. But not all do. In this case, I don't think Lewis showed he was damaged with his interview.

 

just as the commentator said that Lewis is to do something special , Vitali's face goes blood. However that cut was made be it punch / glove / or commentator and his sling shot It sure was affective.


Lewis does not seem brain damaged at all

 

The way Vitali fought towards the end of the round, particularly the last 30 seconds further validates him deserving to lose. He got smashed by a short right and literally dragged on for dear life grasping on to Lewis while wobbling across the ring with the only intent to survive. He slowly tiredly stoops back to his corner after that round. If I were a doctor I'd say he was done... the cut was bad enough but him looking like that. A disservice for his chances.

 

You might be right. I haven't watched the post fight interview in some time. And fortunately, Lewis seems fine. :good

no doubt nothing , its your opinion. In my opinion Vitali would have won the last rounds as well .

Should have been a rematch so it doesnt go to opinion .

Lovely uppper cut from Lennox in the 6th... testament to Klits beard (at the time) and Lennox' technique.

That's as pissy as I've ever seen Lennox in an interview! It might be easy to smack talk a pensioner with a mic, but he seemed genuinely to have a right cobb on!

The "what if" pontification is kind of fun, but ultimately futile, Lennox won. I think his legacy (whatever that turns out to be) will be creditable, and the fact that Klit is still around is a measure of how good he was then, and how good he is now.. even if the Division is weak like **** nowadays.

 

Forgot how fast Vitali's hands used to be.

 

With the British commentary, we don't get to hear the classic Lampley line: "Vitali Klitschko is ROUGHING Lennox Lewis up!"
