It's possible Wilder is the hardest puncher but I don't think we can tell just yet. The three world class fighters [top ranked] he has faced (Stiverne, Fury, and Ortiz), he's 4-0, 2 KO's. I can make a case you bring other big punchers from past era's (Tyson, Tua, Foreman, Lewis, etc) and they'd have the same KO record given Wilder's opposition, maybe even a clean 100% (although Fury might be a hard guy to stop given his style).

When fighters step up and fight guys closer to their level, they either lose or fail to KO them. That is where you can really see someone's punching power. Let's see how Wilder does in the future fighting top ranked guys.

Its a genuine question, as McCall possibly has the GOAT Chin, the only way to stop him is to make him cry standing up

loved the ruiz k.o! the camera man leaning over the ropes, looking down at ruiz, "yes, he is out!"

    A small clarification..Wilder punches hard
also because he broke his hands various times and now they are full of hard callus.

Stopped via Doctor, Crying or Corner...

Its hard to predict a scenario where McCall is downed...

I 've seen a few of fighters discuss power ,Leroy Caldwell who fought everyone said Shavers hit harder than Foreman by far, Wepner said that Foreman was a big strong kid who broke a bone above his eye , but the man that really hurt him was a probably 40 year old Liston. Bert Cooper said that Foreman and Bonecrusher hit him the hardest, and he said Foremans power was a thudding type shot that went through your body whereas Bonecrusher had that snapping explosive pop type power. Everyone who fought him said Shavers was the most powerful puncher ever and I'd put Wilders power in that league, he very well may have the greatest one shot power in heavyweight history, it's just so subjective with so many factors to claim one or the other is the hardest. But I think these 2 are at the top, interesting too that both men had and have poor boxing skill and technique, perhaps the price to pay for generating that much torque.

Velocity, Energy....then the tip of the projectile...

Its not the main factor even if bare-knuckle boxing, if Gloved it becomes a small factor, but very useful to play mind games, especially if you want to undermine the other boxer victory...who needs a perfect headwrap.

Wilder loads every shot..I repeat he broke his hands various times but now they are very resistant thanks to the callus.

That is fine, but his power comes from the combination of his

    • Frame Size
    • Muscle Composition
    • Ideological Grandiosity

Youre right and I would add a quick footwork while he attacks and an excellent aim too..but also to have hands full of callus it helps a lot..
