lat pull downs, press ups, dumbell rows are quite good. and dont forget chin ups, they're easier than pull ups
I don't know how to embed from youtube on here, but try inverted rows. Pullups/lat pulldowns are good for your lats, but inverted rows are better for your rhomboids. Do both. http://youtu.be/XZV9IwluPjw
Dead lifts, cleans, snatches, bent over rows, T-bar rows, so many great variations of band pull aparts can be done as mentioned also is a favourite of mine, so many to do that are great and obviously you will have your favourites but you should try mixing up for the best results, period. There is no secret exercise.
Bicep curls should be apart of every workout in my opinion. Best to do super heavy weight for quarter reps.......in the squat rack. Really hits that upper back and especially the abs.
Lemme guess. Are you looking for something easier than chin-ups?? Chins and pull-up are all u need. When they get "easy".. add weight.
I do chinups with either a couple chains around my neck or bodyweight. For weights I do db rows. They mimic what your arm does when retracing a punch and are excellent for strengthening the upper back. A strong upper back can help decelerate a punch and prevent injuries.
