Uppercuts

    i love uppercuts but i can only use them in short distance any tips in how i can get more dictance but keep most of the power....

    Uppercuts are usually used mostly at short range. Using them at longer range puts yourself in greater risk for a counter.

    Yeah, that's a good demonstration of what can happen with a long distance uppercut. Just stay in close to your opponents body and use your hips and twist to get maximum power. Please try to avoid getting distance with your uppercuts as you might get knocked down for good.

    I agree too. upper-cuts are for close distance fighting...unless you throw what appears to be a kind of underhand jab. it's not really an upper-cut and it's not a jab. It's an in-between. When the fight has his hands high and protecting both sides of hie head, this works well...but it has to be very fast

    Unless your name is Juan Manuel Marquez keep uppercuts for when they're close.
