Bowe-Holyfield? The first one wasn't a big upset. Loads of writers went for Bowe anyway.

    Holyfield-Tyson.

Douglass-Tyson (alright, after round 1 I called it and then tried to reach every bookie I knew)

Apparently some gambling adict bet several thousand dollars on Douglas to win.

Those guys are always losers. He won a bundle I'm sure, but in real terms it probably meant that he lost less that year...

No doubt whatsoever that the bookies got it all back in the end.

Gambling adiction in its extreme form is as powerfull as drug or alchohol adiction. Guys like that loose their money as quickly as they earn it.

I always thought that you must've been a wonderful fight prognosticator during your pre-school days, Brockton.

It wasn't a massive upset but I got 4-1 on Holyfield in the second Tyson fight. Holy had beaten Tyson on every level in the first fight, I couldn't see him losing the second one.

I just knew Holyfield was going to beat Tyson...I felt Holyfield wasn't getting any respect from the media...and felt if Holyfield could beat Mercer, he had a solid shot. I felt something might happen with Tyson/Douglas after hearing angelo Dundee say that Douglas has a good style for Tyson...and that Douglas' mother had passed away..."uh oh"...Tyson might be in trouble.
Hopkins over Tarver...I felt Hopkins was a better coordinated and batter defensively... no surprise.
Hopkins/Trinidad?...uh... no comment. ( I thought after the flag throwing incident that Trinidad would kill him)

Off the top of my head, Canizles-Sandoval and Norris Leonard

I felt the body work of Gaby would wreak havoc with Richie but surprisingly it was the shots to the head that did the trick. He practically turned his head into mush and the combinations were almost Roy Jones-like.

Norris-Leonard, the biggest upset since Douglas Tyson was played down by the media out of embarrassment but I knew from the time Leonard mistakenly signed for this fight that he was in for it. The key factor in this one would be the hand speed and mobility of Norris. leonard can't hit what's not there.

This idea you have that Pavlik was underated before the Taylor fights and everybody was hard on him is not an accurate one. I've told you before; the General forum was split about 50.50, myself and a huge swather of other guys, including most of the top General forum posters, picked Pavlik to win the fight.
