mayweather - unbeaten and the most talented.
cotto - beat mosley and some other good contenders.
mosley - longevity and good wins over margo and collazo.
berto - wbc champ and rising star of the division.
margarito - great win over cotto and good longevity.

clottey, quintana and collazo leading the rear. :bbb

    1. Cotto- Has fought all the best Welterweights and have beaten everybody (Margarito fight doesn't count)
    2. Mosley- Same with Cotto, except Cotto has the edge since Cotto beat Mosley
    3. Mayweather- Nothing great at Welterweight besides beating a bum, an overrated Judah, and a blown up Marquez and Hatton. He has proved himself in otehr divisions though.
    4. Clottey- Hasn't won the big one yet, but a solid/good opponent and has given Cotto and Margarito tough fights.
    5. Berto- Still young, and hasn't built up a resume yet, but he has beaten Collazo. A good start so far.

1 - Cotto - has fought just about everyone, has one loss with an * to it
2 - Mosley - only has lost to cotto close, destroyed margarito
3 - Mayweather - it explains itself, top class fighter, needs to fight more and with top welters
4 - Clottey - has fought margarito, zab and cotto.... always giving a good account for himself, tough tough opponent for anyone as of right now.... needs to win a showdown though.
5 - Margarito - has beat cintron x2, cotto, clottey, among others... was destroyed by mosley and then cought trying to cheat which is why i have him last on this list....
