hey first time long time. Whats the judgement better to make the 2 hour drive to Mohegan sun on March sixth to Devon Alexander v Urango or to sit back and watch the Super Six tournament. I like the Urango v Alexander matchup, a good unbeaten fighting a vet who has some power. It could be a good fight. Cory Spinx fights a contender guy too. That could be OK. Super Six I think Dirrel is good, but he just didn't do enough in the Froch fight, I thought he could been given the decision but he just had too much working against him. This time he is at home, but the competition is a LOT better. I don't thin that Abraham can just go into his shell and wait until Dirrell gasses like he did against "Bad Intentions". So that fight could have some action as well. theres nothing like being there- but Urango Alexander hasn't been getting much buzz despite the fact that it is a unification fight.
That's not really representative of what Abraham did against Taylor at all. Not unless you think Taylor gassed somewhere around rounds 3-5....
Go for the live fight. You can see the super six the next day on youtube. Besides, the Dirrell fight might totally suck (if Dirrell has his way).
Urango's got no chance (da na na da da da), no chance in hell! This is a mismatch, probably a boring shutout for Alexander. It's not worth watching, let alone paying for, and least of all driving for. I'm watching the super six.
That is probably where he started to gas, it is also when Taylor stopped winning rounds. I am saying that I don't think Abraham can bank on winning every late round against Dirrel the way that he could against Taylor. If Dirrel is able to put those early rounds in the bank, and stay on his feet he could be able to frustrate Abraham late. Abraham won't have the tremendous crowd support that he has in Germany or the judge support that he has at home. I know he doesn't always rely on the judges because of his power but Dirrel has proved elusive and frustrating. It will be interesting to see how Abraham does on foreign soil where he has only fought once, that fight against someone he had already beaten.
