Interesting call.. Urango should be the winner because of the power once they start exchanging but I dont know... Maidana impressed me. 50-50
Maidana doesnt box and he doesnt run. ****in guy LOVES to fight and LOVES to display his power. But he's got the weaker chin in this duel. Urango's a bit slower, but hits like a tank and has a steel chin. Bad Bad mix for Maidana. Explosive and possible FOTY, but Urango wins the battle.
Urango took a shot from Randall ****ing Bailey. That alone should tell you who wins this match. (No, not Randall Bailey)
Agree with all this.... Basically my same prediction for the Urango - Bailey fight. Urango's better chin just holds him up versus the bigger bangers at 140 because most of them can't take much of a punch themselves.
This is a bad style for Maidana. You don't stand in front of Urango and trade leather, not unless you want your head punched out of the building. And Maidana will stand in front of Urango.
The shot Bailey caught Urango with was ****ing leathal i dont know how he got up after that so i dont think Maidana could KO him, Im going Urango UD
heh. Maidana is the smarter fighter and he proved that in the Ortiz fight. Urango is still the same guy that fought Andre Eason years ago--meaning he hasn't improved much at all.
They both will lose in their next bout, well.. Urango is atleast. Should be done later this year, a good scrap for sure.
I never considered this matchup...what a war it would be. A war would favor Urango. The same shot that damn near killed Figueroa he got up from and it made him mad. He ended up beating the bejesus out of every part of Bailey above the waist. If Maidana uses some smarts in there and doesn't just say "Quien es mas macho?" and starts banging in a cojones comparison contest, then he has a good chance of winning(Ricky Hatton of all people outpointed Urango) He gets hurt going toe to toe with the 'Iron Twin'.
