The City of Maywood has been in the news alot lately involving city council members and neighboring city of Bell who has also brought a buzz around town with an over paid council. On December the 4th The City of Maywood's very own Urbano Antillon will be challenging Lightweight champ Humberto "la zorrita" Soto at the Honda Center in Anaheim which is about 25 miles south of Maywood. Soto recentlly declined a fight with Antillon and took on an opponet who had not faced real challenges and was taken the distance in his home town of Culican,Sinaloa, Mexico. Urbano Antillon who has one lost in the biggest fight of his career vs Miguel Acosta was surprised in the 9th round and the ref stopped the bout. However making changes in his management team Antillon is right were he wants to be fighting for the world title at a local venue were all family friends and near by citys can be there to support him. I think Soto is just about done as a boxer. He's been turning down good fights against Peterson, Rios and Antillon all the while fighting stiffs and looking bad at the same time.
