If you try and mask X drug, like for ex. EPO with something like Protease which wipes the markers from the EPO, you will auto fail because one it's an obvious sign you are masking since the markers are gone and two, they will test for masking agents like Protease.

They both have their pluses and minuses but I think all around urine is better for catching most things. Both at the same time is better but the costs of that is big ****ing business to testing agencies.

Btw, Overeem is obviously roided to the gills and he was 10:1 on his ratio. Look at that Braun guy from the MLB, skinny **** was supposedly caught with a ratio of 20:1 lol. Testing can also fail.

Taking Dianabol will increase your levels dramatically almost as soon as you start to cycle. Hence the the quick signs of bloat, acne and short half-life. I'm assuming Overeem has access to a little higher end stuff and has been roiding long enough now that he just has to maintain and doesn't need that "kick-start" anymore.

I mentioned that because to be a successful doper you've gotta know your concentrations and stay under the radar so to speak. I can see 10:1 for him, especially when their limit is 6:1. The MLB guy I mentioned, who I would think if he was a doper being the MVP and all, would have his own doping doctors consulting... you know what I mean? In that case who would be stupid enough to get caught starting a cycle if that's the case? It's like getting caught with your pants down. 20:1 that's off the map!

You know what, there was one stupid ****, Floyd Landis. He'd cracked towards the end of the mountain stages and lost a grip of time like 12 mins or something iirc. He literally threw on a bunch of patches and roid monstered up and destroyed the field, decimated them and got his time and some back. Obviously he's a moron and got caught with high levels, was never a smart guy that Landis.

lol, who knows. He may have had high levels to begin with, or the synthetic test he took was really good! Sucked for him in the long run.

    Is 20:1 even healthy ?

I would say no, but everyone is different. Higher levels generally mean higher blood pressure, higher bad cholesterol, etc., etc.

Most pro-bodybuilders at the elite level (J. Cutler, R. Coleman), during the peak of their cycles have 20-30x the amount of test a normal man would have at any given time.

He ducked out of the country after agreeing to submit to a urine test within 72 hours in order to get licensed to fight Lesnar. The NSAC sent follow up requests which "took days to get sorted out" (just how many days- it doesn't say) and then Overeem finally submitted a blood sample, which was clean. Blood tests are not even part of the NSAC's PED testing protocol, but they accepted it anyway and allowed the fight to take place.

This time around, they forced him to take a random **** test at the UFC 146 presser, and the fact that he didn't know it was coming is undoubtedly why he got caught.

I concur. They should random urine test all the top guys, it doesn't cost much at all comparatively either. You can catch most stuff, even blood transfusions!

Here's an interesting fact: The NSAC actually announced in 2008 that they would be conducting out-of-competition testing on their licensees in addition to their standard day of the fight tests, which means they have the authority to randomly test any athlete licensed by the state of NV at any time, but they haven't really followed through with it until recently when a bill was passed to fund it. This is good news and hopefully other states will follow suit because as it is, most of them only require one scheduled **** test... If even that.
