    I'm beggining to beleive that great American Heavyweights are a thing of the past for good.

    You may very well be right. The stranglehold we held over the titles for so many years has been broken since Lennox Lewis and we have only had belt holders since then.

    We will always have our golden years.:-(

    I know this is a long shot here, but I think that at some point, boxing and MMA are going to start helping each other rather than competing. All of the kids growing up watching MMA are going to want to learn boxing skills, and some of them will find that they just plain excell at and like boxing.

    Dear god, this just reaffirms the fact that the lower divisions ARE boxing and the HW division in its current form is an aberration that is turning new fans away from the sport.

    But remember, the idea that the best americans are NOT in the NFL, NBA, and MLB is a myth :patsch


    That being said though, this guy is a lot better then I thought hed look based on his picture. He might have potential to be the next Arreola (and I am not saying that as a diss, whether people like it or not you still have to be good to get to where hes gotten)

    he was 225 in cunningham fight. In his last fight he went up to 246. He gained 21 pounds

    He seems to be featherfisted as well, only one KO in four fights against subpar opposition.
